Protection of privacy is of crucial importance for the future of internet-based business models and for the development of an internet-based economy. We are committed to this privacy policy to demonstrate our part in protecting the privacy and privacy of individuals. This data protection declaration describes how we handle information that can be used directly or indirectly to identify individuals ("personal data").

A. General information

What does this data protection declaration apply to?

What does conplus do with my personal data?

conplus processes the personal data covered by this data protection declaration exclusively as described here. Further information can be found in sections B and C below. To the extent that the processing of your personal data is based on a legal requirement, section B below contains information on which personal data conplus processes or uses for which purposes. To the extent that your consent is required to process your personal data, you will find further information in Section C below.

Duration of processing personal data.

Insofar as conplus processes and uses your personal data on the basis of a legal permit (see Section B below) or within the scope of your consent (see Section C below), conplus only stores your personal data (i) for as long as the purposes set out below require, or (ii) until you object to the use of your personal data by conplus (insofar as conplus has a legitimate interest in the use of your personal data) or (iii) until you revoke your consent (insofar as you consent to the use of your personal data have consented through conplus). However, if a longer storage of your personal data by conplus is mandatory by law or conplus needs your personal data to assert legal claims or defense against legal claims, conplus will save your personal data until the corresponding retention period has expired or until the claims have been settled.

Why do I have to provide personal data?

Basically, the granting of consent or the provision of personal data is completely voluntary. If you do not give your consent or do not provide any personal data, this generally has no adverse effects on you. However, there are situations in which conplus cannot act without certain personal data, for example because this personal data is required to process your orders or to give you access to a website or a newsletter. In such cases, conplus can unfortunately not provide you with the desired information without the relevant personal data.

Where is my personal data processed?

conplus processes personal data exclusively on computers in the European Economic Area ("EEA").

Rights of the affected persons.

You can request information from conplus about which personal data conplus processes about you at any time, as well as the correction or deletion of this personal data. Please note, however, that conplus can only delete your personal data if there is no legal obligation to keep it or conplus has no overriding right to keep it. Please also consider that after the deletion of your personal data requested by you, you can no longer use conplus services that require the use of your personal data by conplus.

If conplus uses your personal data based on your consent or to carry out a contract with you, you can also request a copy of the personal data that you have provided to conplus from conplus. Please send your request to the email address below and state what information or processing activities your request relates to, in what format you want this information and whether the personal data is sent to you or to another recipient should be sent. conplus will carefully examine your application and clarify with you how it can best be fulfilled.Furthermore, you can request conplus in the following cases that conplus restricts the further processing of your personal data: (i) if you assert that the personal data held by conplus about you are incorrect (however only as long as conplus for checking the accuracy of the personal data concerned), (ii) if there is no legal basis for the processing of your personal data by conplus and you request that your personal data be no longer processed by conplus, (iii) if conplus does not process your personal data more is required, but you assert that conplus must continue to store this data so that you can assert or exercise legal claims or defend yourself against third party claims, or (iv) if you want conplus to process your personal data (based on the legitimate interest of conplus as described in Absc section B below), as long as the examination of a primary interest of conplus in the processing of your personal data or a legal retention requirement requires.

Please direct all inquiries under this section to datenschutz@conplus.biz.

Right of appeal.

If you believe that conplus does not process your personal data in accordance with the requirements described here or with the data protection laws applicable in the EEA, you can lodge a complaint at any time with the data protection authority of the EEA member country in which you are located, or at the data protection authority of the country or federal state in which conplus has its registered office.

Use of Facebook social plugins

conplus uses so-called social plugins (“plugins”) from the social network facebook.com, which is operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”). The plugins can be recognized by one of the Facebook logos (white "f" on a blue tile or a "thumbs up" sign) or are marked with the addition "Facebook Social Plugin". The list and appearance of the Facebook social plugins can be viewed here: https://developers.facebook.com/plugins.

When you visit a page on this website that contains such a plug-in, your browser establishes a direct connection to the Facebook servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted from Facebook directly to your browser, which integrates it into the page. conplus therefore has no influence on the scope of the data that Facebook collects with the help of this plugin and therefore inform yourself according to our level of knowledge:

By integrating the plugins, Facebook receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding page of our website. If you are logged in to Facebook, Facebook can assign the visit to your Facebook account. If you interact with the plugins, for example by pressing the Like button, the corresponding information is transmitted from your browser directly to Facebook and stored there. If you are not a member of Facebook, there is still the possibility that Facebook will find out and save your IP address.

The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook, as well as your rights and setting options for protecting your privacy, can be found in Facebook's data protection information: https://www.facebook.com/policy.php.

If you are a Facebook member and do not want Facebook to collect data about you via our website and link it to your member data stored on Facebook, you must log out of Facebook before visiting our website.

Use of Twitter social plugins

conplus uses the tweet and follow buttons of the social network Twitter, which is operated by Twitter Inc., 795 Folsom St. Suite 600, San Francisco, CA 94107, United States. The buttons can be recognized by a Twitter logo (little blue bird) and the words "Tweet" or "Follow" on a white or light blue background.

When you visit a page on this website that contains such a button, your browser establishes a direct connection to the Twitter servers. The content of the Tweet and Follow buttons is transmitted from Twitter directly to your browser, which integrates it into the website. webandmore therefore has no influence on the amount of data that Twitter collects with the buttons, but we assume that your IP address will also be recorded.

For the purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Twitter, as well as your rights and setting options for protecting your privacy, please refer to Twitter's data protection information: https://twitter.com/privacy.

If you are a Twitter member and do not want Twitter to collect data about you via our website and link it to your member data stored on Twitter, you must log out of Twitter before visiting our website.

Linking social media via graphics or text link

We also advertise on our website presences on the social networks listed below. The integration takes place via a linked graphic of the respective network. The use of this linked graphic prevents a connection to the respective server of the social network from being automatically established when a website with a social media application is called up in order to display a graphic of the respective network itself. The user is only forwarded to the service of the respective social network by clicking on the corresponding graphic.

After the user has been forwarded, information about the user is recorded by the respective network. It cannot be ruled out that the data collected in this way will be processed in the USA.

First of all, this includes data such as IP address, date, time and page visited. If the user is logged into his user account of the respective network, the network operator may be able to assign the information collected from the specific visit of the user to the user's personal account. If the user interacts via a “Share” button on the respective network, this information can be saved in the user's personal user account and published if necessary. If the user wants to prevent the information collected from being directly assigned to his user account, he must log out before clicking on the graphic. There is also the option of configuring the respective user account accordingly.
